We aim to raise up and equip generations of disciples.
Everything we do is about helping others to encounter Jesus or to help deepen their relationship with him.
Fr Dominic is a native of the seaside village of Portaferry in Country Down. He is a priest of the Diocese of Down and Connor and has degrees in Law and Theology from Universities in Dublin, Cambridge, Rome and Louvain.
Before becoming university chaplain in 2019 Fr Dominic served in a busy city centre parish, in hospital chaplaincy, and as an associate of the Diocesan Pastoral Renewal Office.
As our Director of Campus Ministry, Shannon draws together the various strands of chaplaincy life and co-ordinates our rich programme of activities to deliver on our ambitious chaplaincy vision.
She has a background in Education and Theology and is a graduate of St Mary’s University College Belfast, Trinity College Dublin, and Queen’s University Belfast.
Eílis is a celebrated and prize-winning Soprano and a graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She has diversified as a classical-crossover and liturgical artist singing with St Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh, performing as a soloist and as a member of a variety of ensembles throughout Ireland.
She is helping Canticle (the chaplaincy choir) to develop its own distinctive sound, drawing on the riches of the Church’s sacred music traditions, contemporary folk and praise and worship music.
Having searched for meaning, identity and purpose throughout her university years, Cassandra found her calling in her FOCUS ministry and is now serving in her sixth year at Queen’s University Belfast.
At college, Michael was just going through the motions until he found his Catholic community. Since then, he’s realized that it is one of his greatest desires to help people find their own relationship with God.
Patricia serves Queen’s University Belfast with a deep understanding of the transformative impact that faith and community at university can have on a person.
After working full-time as a lighting designer, Sean dropped everything to bring the joy and peace of Jesus to others by introducing them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.
