The Chaplaincy building is open for all students and staff to use weekdays from 8am to 10pm (note we close at 3pm on Fridays). At weekends we're closed on Saturdays and open for Mass each Sunday evening during term.
Whether you want to stop by to use the Chapel, fancy a cup of coffee with friends at the Food Bar, or would like a relaxed and social place to study, we are open for you.
The ground floor space comprises the Food Bar and Refectory. The sofas there are a great place to relax, eat your lunch or meet up with classmates. The Chapel is also on the ground floor, and is always open. In good weather, the Cloister Garden is the perfect spot for quiet time to reflect and get some head-space.
On the first floor, you will find the Lounge where you can relax or read. It’s also a comfortable space for small groups to meet. Next door we have the Clonard and Bangor Rooms which are used for larger gatherings and have multimedia and projection facilities. These are often used for meetings and movie nights.
On the second floor is a seminar room used frequently by students during term who seek a comfortable space to get their readings done and essays written. Our nearby Library is stocked with a wide range of books, both fiction and non-fiction. Also on this floor is a Prayer Room for personal prayer, Eucharistic Adoration and small group reflection.
The facilities available to members of Chaplaincy include:
- Corpus Christi Chapel
- Chapel Organ (Wells-Kennedy single manual pipe organ)
